The Arkansas School for the Blind & Visually Impaired will offer statewide quality educational programs and resources to students who are blind or visually impaired, birth through twenty-one, enabling them to become productive, self-sufficient citizens through the involvement of all students, staff, parents and the community.

ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF INSTRUCTION (AMI)

Due to the rise of COVID positive cases on the campus of the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, we will use Alternative Means of Instruction (AMI) days. Continuing on Monday, January 10, 2022, through Friday, January 14, 2022 students will receive instruction via Google Classroom or complete assignments provided by the classroom teacher.

Classes will resume in person on Tuesday, Jan 18, 2022.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s classroom teacher or teacher advocate.
